We told you Lea has been feeling ‘numb’ and that she hasn’t been able to accept the fact that Cory is gone. Now that she is starting to come to terms with Cory’s death, she has been feeling worse than ever.

“Lea is getting worse–the shock is wearing off now and the reality is setting in,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “She’s been having horrible anxiety attacks where she feels like she can’t breathe.”

Lea must be feeling really overwhelmed by the melange of emotions she is dealing with. It’s good that she has been leaning on friends like Glee co-creator Ryan Murphy during this difficult time, but it sounds like she needs professional help to truly heal.
Lea Michele Wants Get Back To Work

Lea “misses Cory more every day,” and as difficult as it would be to return to Glee without him, she still wants to get back to work as soon as possible, our source reveals.

“Lea pushes herself so hard and expects so much from herself,” the source says. “And she doesn’t want to let down anyone at Glee because she knows everyone is counting on her to come back.”

At the same time, the cast and crew is concerned that Lea is “expecting too much from herself.”

“It’s hard to imagine how she’s going to physically get through her work days,” the source says. “She can barely stop crying and it’s only getting worse.”


Lea hasn’t been talking to her Glee co-stars much since Cory’s death, but maybe she is ready to be close to them again. It might help her to be surrounded by people who also knew and loved Cory.
